Brian, thanks for this article my comments below.. the 144,000 jewish evangelist i believe under the Prophets Moses and Elijah do their work within the 7 year tribulation(the time when the antichrist is revealed) and they like the original apostles go to the ends of the earth and teach the gospel. what is the point of their evangelising when all the true believers(the church has been raptured away). i would be greatful for your commentary regards roger
Roger, I don't know if these men are 'under' Moses and Elijah, they are sealed for the duration to take the gospel of the coming Kingdom age (to the Jew first) and (I think) also to the Gentiles. There is an untold number of people who are slain for the word of God and their testimony during this time Revelation 6:9-11. I believe these are both Jew and Gentiles martyred for their subsequent faith and refusal to take the mark of the beast. There are others who physically survive this time and go on to populate the Kingdom age. It is my belief these are those to whom the 144000 witnessed to.
